ACAPMA to host Queensland Biofuels Mandate – Information Night

ACAPMA is holding an information session for Queensland fuel retailers about the new biofuels exemption guidelines and ACAPMA CEO Mark McKenzie will be on-hand to answer any questions you may have.

On January 1, 2017, all fuel retailers with 10 or more sites (or fuel retailers with any site selling more than two million litres of petrol a year) will be required to sell ethanol-blended petrol and biodiesel.

Earlier this month, the Queensland Government issued a set of biofuels exemption guidelines, which provide information on the circumstances that could potentially result in an affected retailer being exempted from being required to sell ethanol-blended petrol (and biofuels) under the mandate.

In order to secure such an exemption, fuel retailers must prepare and submit an application for exemption to the Queensland Government. (See ACAPMA article on Qld ethanol mandate update here.)

ACAPMA’s Queensland Biofuels Mandate – Information Night will be held 3pm-5pm, October 7 at Stamford Plaza, Brisbane. Attendance is free for ACAPMA members and $100 for non-members.

To RSVP, email Catherines@acapma.com.au or call 1300 160 270.
