The Distributors acquires Impulse Marketing

National independent wholesaler group The Distributors has acquired digital marketing agency Impulse Marketing as part of its vision to continue to provide high levels of service and opportunities to partners in the FMCG industry.

The Distributors says Impulse Marketing is an established, innovative digital agency operating Brandz Online, Brandz Snapshot, Brandz Apps and Brandz Digital Services – service touch points through which it “instantly connects manufacturers to wholesalers and retail customers in a relevant and timely manner”.

“The acquisition of Impulse Marketing provides strong synergy to our growth and service strategy and we look forward to enhancing our digital capabilities for our customers and supply partners,” The Distributors General Manager George Tsapoutas said.

Impulse Marketing will continue to be headed by General Manager Karen Campbell, who says the acquisition will allow the digital business to flourish.

“The Brandz App technology is undergoing an exciting overhaul and will allow suppliers to have their own branded app and email retailer orders directly back to the wholesalers,” she said.
