Paddle Pop is giving fans the “ultimate throwback,” taking them to 2002 with the re-release of Bionic Bubble Gum.
Streets Ice Cream says that after Aussies went crazy for the return of Caramel Choc Dip earlier this year, it is bringing in yet another “blast from the past” and just in time for the warmer months ahead.
“It wasn’t out of the blue that Bionic Bubble Gum was the next old favourite Paddle Pop to re-release,” Streets Marketing Manager Scott Mingl said. “Ever since Caramel Choc Dip hit the shelves we’ve had a ridiculous number of requests to bring Bionic Bubble Gum back, too.
We can’t wait for Paddle Pop lovers to take a trip down memory lane and share them with younger generations too.”
Streets says the Australian heritage brand has been loved by Aussie’s since it was born in 1953 and continues to be a firm favourite among young and older alike.
The brand’s message is: grab your mates and beat the heat 2002 style, because Bionic Bubble Gum Paddle Pop is back, but for a limited time only!
Now on sale nationwide, Bionic Bubble Gum is available at supermarkets including Woolworths and Coles and most convenience stores.
RRP: Paddle Pop Bionic Bubble Gum (single serve): $1.50, Paddle Pop Bionic Bubble Gum Multi Pack (10 serves): $6.99.
