Fancy getting paid to eat Ferrero Rocher?

Well now you can. Ferrero Company has the perfect job for you. All you have to do is up sticks and move to Italy.

Ferrero is seeking 60 “sensory judges” to taste-test its products – for money. These products will include Nutella spread, Ferrero Rocher chocolates, Tic Tac mints and Kinder candies.

The only catch is that you’d have to relocate to the company’s headquarters in Alba, a town in Italy’s Piedmont region. Alba is also famous for its selection of white truffles.

Tough training – hazelnut, cocoa and white chocolate

In Alba, the chosen few will begin a three-month training course – paid – starting in September. They’ll be sampling lots of hazelnut, cocoa and white-chocolate treats to hone their sense of smell and taste. The goal is help the company improve its products.

Those trainees who pass muster at the end of the training course will join the company on a long-term contract. They’ll start gently – with a part-time commitment of two days per week for two hours.

According to newspaper The Local, this is the first time the company has sought non-professionals to taste-test its products.
